Third Thursday is a monthly event series rooted in the heart of the Lower East Side, NYC, dedicated to uplifting and advancing the cannabis industry through meaningful connection, collaboration, and discovery. Held every third Thursday of the month from 6-830pm, our mission is to create an inclusive space where entrepreneurs, job seekers, legacy operators, consumers, creatives, and advocates come together to build community, share knowledge, spark opportunity, and drive the culture forward. Whether you’re hiring, hustling, launching, learning, or simply curious, Third Thursday is where New York’s cannabis industry comes to meet and collaborate.

This Third Thursday falls on Juneteenth, a national holiday that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for equality. In recognition of this meaningful day, we’re proud to partner with longtime Third Thursday regular Daron Hudson and make a $250 donation to support Lantern Community Services. Daron, a trailblazer in New York’s cannabis space—formerly with Housing Works and soon to open The Sanctuary Garden dispensary on the Upper West Side—is also a passionate community organizer. This month, he’ll be assembling care packs and prepared meals for individuals experiencing homelessness, those living with HIV, and people reentering society after incarceration.
